TAG is a line of male body sprays designed to compete in the teen deodorant market with Axe Body Spray and P&G’s Old Spice Red Zone. The brand utilizes similar marketing iconography as Axe, emphasizing the variety of fragrances offered by TAG and their ability to attract teen girls. In later campaigns, TAG targeted urban teens through new products and a music label headed by jermaine dupri that featured a nationwide rap battle tour to promote new artists and increase exposure for the TAG brand.
