RGI WEBSITE REDESIGN
RGI is a full-service marketing and design agency located in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have worked directly with top CPGs and retailers since 1989, including Kroger, General Cable, Speedway, Dole, Wild Flavors, P&G and Gordon Food Services. With Dole, Kroger and GFS as significantly active clients, RGI's website was tailored toward shopper marketing. This specific expertise was particularly valuable to RGI in relation to retail knowledge and a unique parternship with Kroger and was promoted as such. In 2017, RGI decided it needed a new online presence that more accurately represented the company's full and updated range of capabilities.
THE NEW HOMEPAGE
With a focus on mobile, RGI's new website centered around a top-navigation and a slider featuring client work with links. The opening slide is meant to identify RGI's strength in building tailored marketing and execution strategies for large and small clients, while also adding creativity and playfulness through vector illustration.
Thanks to tools such as Google analytics, company websites are no longer completely reliant on traffic to their homepage. Traffic can be generated anywhere on the site using SEO. And while RGI's homepage is meant as the primary target for current and new clients, it's mobile-friendly, vertical design is optimized for driving visitors to search deeper in order to isolate the specific needs or skills they require.
Most importantly, the new format transforms a stagnant, mobile-impaired site into a more dynamic, more informative mechanism for interacting with clients and generating feedback. The contact form and map built into the footer has allowed for significant current, as well as new-client interaction that had previously been difficult.
OPTIMIZED LANDING PAGES
The landing pages (which include marketing, retail, design and packaging) differ from the look and feel of the homepage and are meant as effective, de facto homepages. They reinforce the core elements of the RGI brand and break down each offering with additional links to sub-landing pages. Throughout the design process, it was important for RGI to have as many genuine, original images presented as possible and to emphasize the unique partnerships that RGI fosters with their clients. These images encourage visitors to explore the site and showcase the vibrant color, innovation and precise execution that define RGI as an agency and marketing partner.
